Based in the London’s headquarter of one biggest investment bank, the Senior eTrading C# Developer will be integrated in the commodities etrading development team.
As Senior C# Developer (eTrading), you will be working on several projects covering enhancements to pre-trade pricing, hedging, booking and regulatory services, as well as technical enhancements to reduce system complexity and increase scalability, performance, and resilience.
Main responsibilities of the Senior C# Developer:
Design and develop key pieces of functionality for the Commodities Derivatives Platform,
Ensure that releases are suitably tested and impacts,
Ensure supportability of solutions,
Follow the team procedures (release control, code review, deployment, source code management and architectural governance),
Redesign existing code and solutions where necessary to ensure consistency and evolution with new frameworks, methodologies, and technology across the platform and within the relevant technical domains globally.
Skills & Experience required:
University degree in any quantitative discipline (math, computer science, engineering),
Strong experience with C# (.NET 4.5), SQL Server, .NET core, micro-services, web technologies, continuous integration,
A proven track record successfully delivering low latency, business critical C#,
Basic knowledge with trading systems with zero downtime,
Organised and delivery-focused, with attention to detail,
Solid work ethic, team player with a strong level of autonomy,
Ability ti work under pressure and excellent communication,
Fluent in English and a proficient level in any other European language is a plus.
