Talan Canada is growing and looking to strengthen its team with an ATS Senior Developer for the Montreal office, who will be interested in working with clients from multiple industries.
- Undertake the design and development of some of the key ATS software components
- Manage the delivery of high-quality software into the production environment in a timely and low-risk manner
- Ensure development and delivery adheres to all relevant team, ITEC and SG standards
- Client-centric production delivery
- Delivery of simple, maintainable, well-tested, robust software solutions
- Strong collaboration with the wider team
- Deliver within the teams established Agile and Continuous Delivery processes
- Ensure failover and resiliency capabilities of solutions exceeds client expectations
- Ensure compliance with all SG internal policies regarding control and supervision
- Ownership, taking accountability for actions and decisions
- Delivery focused; ability to meet deadlines
- Open and collaborative; keen to share experience and encourage others to do likewise
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Advanced C#, including multithreading
- Message based middleware (Informatica Ultra Messaging, RabbitMQ)
- SQL and NoSQL datastores (MS SQL Server, Redis)
- WPF, including third party grid components (DevExpress)
- Agile / Scrum
- Continuous Delivery practices and tools including Git, Nuget, Jenkins, Team City and PowerShell
- Knowledge of exchange traded products (Cash Equity / Futures)
- Proven track record of project delivery in a Front Office environment
- Experience of exchange traded products, e.g. Cash Equities and Futures
- Experience of delivering robust, maintainable, high-performance C# components within a service based environment
- Experience of working in a dynamic environment, utilizing Agile methodologies
