We are looking for a Google Cloud Data Architect to design and deliver technical solutions for our clients, from architecture through deployment.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The primary role of the position is to:
- Design end-to-end architectures (from data ingestion, security to data visualization) for medium and large-scale, complex client environments
- Estimate the cost of the recommended architectures
- Estimate technical implementation activities
- Implement analytical solutions with GCP environments (Data Analytics suite: Big Query, Looker, DataFlow, Dataproc, …)
- Tune performance
- Communicate complex technical topics to non-technical business and senior executives and assist with scoping, architecting, and selling cloud data solutions
Required experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years architecting, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise data solutions. Pref. with consulting companies
- Proven track record designing and deploying data analytics solutions on GCP (or hybrid architectures, e.g. GCP + PowerBI)
- Proven track record architecting, developing, and deploying data integration workloads (batch and real-time).
- Proven track record in deploying large-scale, high performing data platforms / DWHaaS
- Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics and/or AI & Machine Learning Certifications
Skills:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership: trusted / expert, reliable and accountable
- Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility: management of multiple projects simultaneously
