- Produce functional and technical design specifications to meet the business requirements as well as technical requirements working closely with the BA team and the technical architect
- Communicate properly produced design with business stakeholders and engineers
- Provide implementation guidance to the dev team
- Work closely with the technical project lead to ensure consistent delivery
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, engineering teams, and support
- Create and capture best practices, technical content and new reference architectures
- Work on the definition of wider aspects of architecture (Enterprise) to ensure that technical services landscape responds to principal business program roadmaps.
- Challenge implementation quotations from suppliers
- Work on analysis of current landscape – project to define viable alternative based on constraints
- Contribute towards the evolution of the software lifecycle processes inside the IT department
Expected profile
- Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
- Produce functional specification
- Experience on taking into consideration non-functional requirements in his design (scalability, redundancy/availability, security, maintainability, fault tolerance)
- Organise design documentation
- Interface with Client
- Should be familiar with Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
Basic Qualifications
- SOA principals, Security patterns, SSO architecture
- Experience with Solutioning of Microservices architecture (DDD, API Gateway)
- Web service, event/message driven based distributed architecture
- BPMN / UML design
- SOAP and Rest design patterns
- Experience on collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence
Considered as plus
- Working experience on Java development framework i.e. JEE and / or Spring
- Telecom Business understanding
- DevOps
- Working knowledge using TOGAF or another EA framework
- Working knowledge of cloud native architectures (Spring cloud, containers)
- Knowledge of modern data processing techniques and systems
