We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work with one of our clients' front-office teams and more specifically, in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java and/or C++ and will be responsible for providing a high level of expertise in the development of in house applications related to option and delta one product trading. The option system is OverDrive, an option real-time trading application, offering various trading automatons and direct accesses to North America option markets. It also handles the Sales/Trading Order Management System flow. The delta one product (stock, futures, and baskets) systems are covered under the DeltaOne Suite. This is a suite of applications that are used to monitor and manage (routing, hedging) the delta risk of the trading activity

Responsibilities

• Make high-level design choices

• Propose technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.

• Understand the interactions and dependencies among components

• Recognize potential reuse in the organization or in the application

• Implement the required modifications and make sure the applications benefit from the leading and innovative technologies.

Required:

• BA (or equivalent) required in Computer Science and Finance. Advanced degree considered a plus.

• C++ / Java coding language mastered (4 years of experience at least)

Preferred :

• Good knowledge of pricing (derivatives products) and exotics products.

• Good knowledge of option automatons and option markets

• Good knowledge of python
