In a large dedicated onsite service centre, our team takes responsibility for many activities to support our customer’s business, including:
Activity management of all substantial evolutions (new modules, new features, task forces…) of trading applications mainly used by Operators, Middle-Office, Back-Office and Finance with a team of 2 Business analysts, 2 fixed developers and 4 floating developers
Analysis and quotation of business needs, definition and schedule of iterations with key indicators and milestones
Management and reporting of activity to project meetings and steering committees, daily updates and population of product backlog, support of release management during deliveries and leading of daily stand-up meetings with all team members
Within a Risk calculation and analysis team, responsible for providing risk figures across all asset classes to the Risk – Investment Markets department (Risk-IM) regarding counterparty risk, Talan has strong interactions with various clients (Methodology, Counterparty Risk analysts, Traders and Sales, Risk officers within Front Office, CVA trading desks) as well as with Risk quants, Risk systems developers and Risk systems support. We handle user requests, requests follow-up and reinforces the business support. Hence Talan is exposed to many components of counterpart risks (methodology, XVA, Capital, VaR…) on top of regulatory changes (FRTB, bilateral margining…).
Our customer is a global Corporate and Investment Bank willing to adapt their corporate project methodology to become more Agile. Our team leads and supports their transformation through the creation of an overall business case, driving various change streams within HR, processes and governance areas, development of an internal Agile lab and through Agile coaching of experimental development teams.
