Hybrid mode: 2 days in office by sprint (2 weeks)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional and Automation QA. In this role, you will be a hybrid tester in charge of doing Manual and Automation Testing in the squad. Responsible for identifying end to end regression test coverage and automate the same (backend & UI) with appropriate tools and technology. This role will be a in charge of all testing tasks and QA process in the Squad. You will work closely with Developers, BAs and Product owner to identify and rectify defects and ensure a quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create/Re-use automation testing framework from scratch and define testing strategy for both backend and user interface components of cloud based microservices application.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend services, APIs, and User Interfaces
- Perform end-to-end testing, integration testing and regression testing to validate software functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, BA, and Product owner to under requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify and report software defects, track issues and assist in their resolution.
- Integration of test automation into the CI pipeline and Test management tool Xray
- Document test procedures and results and provide clear and concise reports.
- Flexible to perform manual testing.
- Fully understand the present application for effective replacement and take over.
- Move towards Gherkin style of writing test scripts from traditional way

- Proven expertise skill in automation QA testing for microservices based application, including knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and best practices.
- Expertise in write automation tests using programming languages Java or Python, Cucumber framework.
- Proficient in UI/backend functional testing.
- Experience in create and maintain of automation testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation into the pipeline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Experience with Test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Xray).
- Basic knowledge of databases and NoSQL for data validation and testing
- Proven Independent performer.
