Talan Canada is growing and looking to strengthen its teams with several Application Support Analyst for the Montreal office, able to work with clients in several industries.


We are looking for dynamic and motivated personalities to take on the role of Production/Application Support Analyst. The consultant will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting applications in production environment. The role will involve a high level of commitment and drive to maintain application availability.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Monitor end-to-end applications using the tools provided.
· Manage alerts for resolution and escalate issues.
· Diagnose and resolve technical issues according to common guidelines.
· Act as the first line of contact for end users.
· Liaise with the infra and development teams.
· Keep track of the impact and track incidents.
· Ensure issues are properly recorded for high priority incidents and follow up for quick closure.
· Prioritize and manage multiple issues.
· Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals, reviewing application data.
· Maintain the repository of production alerts by category and report repeated problems in a timely manner

· Computer science graduate
· 2+ years of experience in a similar position
· Knowledge of ITIL concepts and principles.
· Good knowledge of Linux, Windows and SQL.
· Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
· Ability to provide step-by-step technical assistance.
· Dynamic approach to respond to different situations.
· Knowledge of Python (Asset).
· Previous experience in a Financial environment (Asset).
· English speaker
· Able to communicate in French (Asset)
